Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development (ECDD) conducted a three-day training on “Disability Inclusion Awareness Training of Trainers" from December 21-23, 2022 in Addis Ababa.

The trainees selected from different sectors of ECDD main office. The objective of the training was mainly aimed to strengthen the capacity of trainees on disability inclusion mindset, Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), advocacy and communication, concepts of accessibility, planning and inclusion programming and practical steps to inclusive project life cycles.
The trainees actively participated and shared their ideas and experiences related to disability inclusion in Ethiopia with special focus on their project areas.At the end of the three-day training, impressive and motivational closing remarks were given by Getahun Semeon (PhD), Executive Director of ECDD, and the trainees were awarded certificate of completion. The training was funded by See You Foundation.
